"Suit the action to the word, the word to the action" Wm Shakespeare

As a choreographer with over 20 years of professional experience, Lindsey Hanahan has always followed Shakespeare's advice. Her ability to create appropriate, impactful dance and movement for shows as diverse as Oklahoma! and Caryl Churchill's A Mouthful of Birds has won her critical acclaim and the admiration of actors and directors from New York to Beijing to Denver.

After witnessing and experiencing the transformative impact of Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis on her own acting under the tutelage of Cheryl Clark, CMA and Ruth Nerken in New York City, Lindsey was inspired to complete her LMA certification in order to train other actors and share with them the incredible "toolbox" of skills that LMA provides.

Whether she's directing, choreographing, coaching or teaching, Lindsey combines her extensive theatrical experience (which includes training in acting, dance, voice (singing and speech), improv, Shakespeare, ballroom, and other disciplines) to provide outstanding artistic guidance to performers at any level.

Lindsey is available for private coaching, group acting and dance classes, and period movement training as well as directing and choreography on plays, musicals, and corporate events.
